Telephone service is activated in all Residential
Halls prior to check-in. There is no charge for this service. Just
bring a telephone set with you. There is one telephone line per
bedroom. Basic telephone services include local calling, Caller
ID, Call Waiting, Last Number Redial, 3-way Calling and Voice Mail.
Students living in University Apartments, Fraternities
or Sororities houses can complete
an application for telephone service at the Student Telecom Services Office located
in Room 104 Student Services Center. Most service can be activated the
same day the application is completed. Students will need to provide a
telephone set. Basic telephone service includes local calling, Call Waiting,
3-way Calling and Last Number Redial. Voice Mail and Caller ID are available
at additional cost. The Basic Service charge, plus tax, is billed on a
monthly basis. Students are notified via email when the invoice is available
on-line. Payment can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover
or Bama Cash.
Students residing in an off-campus residence will
need to contact a local service provider.
